An enchanting presentation of the opera "Prometheus Bound" at the Numismatic Museum of Athens (Photos)

Friday 22 September 2017. The opera was presented with great success in the framework of the European Cultural Heritage Days 2017 celebrations of the Ministry of Culture of Greece.
Inside the beautiful Esperides hall, where the archaeologist Henry Schliemann made the events, presented the opera "Prometheus Bound" by Panagiotis Karousos, directed by Vasilis Asimakopoulos.
The very popular music of the opera was pleased the fine audience were watched with great attention the amazing artists led by the bass Vasilis Asimakopoulos. 
Impressive Bass Vasilis Asimakopoulos in the role of Prometheus gave a unique interpretation vocally and acting.

Soprano Irini Konsta as Io was intense and dramatic with great theatric movements. Tenor Theodoros Birakos in the roles of Ocean and Hermes was presented rightly the characters with excellent vocal fluctuations.
Soprano Dimitra Kamitsi in the roles of Violence and Athena had the serious entity of the demanding roles. Soprano Rea Budouri performed the role of Oceanid with a velvet voice and showing her compassion to Prometheus. The outstanding lyric artists were accompanied by the pianist Pandelis Legakis.
The presentation was made by the composer Panagiotis Karousos who thanked the archaeologist Dr. Georgios Kakavas, Director of the Numismatic Museum of Athens, while museologist Eleni Nakis also preached this special opera event.
